MAJESTIC HARBOR COMMUNITY SCHOOL STAFF

Every member of the faculty and staff of Majestic Harbor are residents of the greater Gloucester area. Many of the staff are life long residents with strong ties to the community.

Executive Director / Pre-school and Infant / Toddler Teacher
Beth Costanzo is the founder of Majestic Harbor Community School and is the lead pre-school teacher. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Lesley University and an M Ed. from Endicott College in Organization and Administration. Beth has been accepted into Nova Southeastern University’s Educational Leadership Doctoral Program. She believes that children learn best from hands-on experiences, and has based all of the programs at Majestic Harbor on this belief.

Beth has volunteered at Cape Ann Families as a teacher and at Our Lady of Good Voyage as a Sunday School Teacher, as well as at Senior Home Care as an assistant to an elderly member of the community. She has served as Director of the Gloucester Christmas Parade, and has coached Chargers Softball and Cheerleading.

Beth recently launched and educational preschool program called The Adventures of Scuba Jack. This exciting new venture comes from her success as an educator for over 14 years. The Adventures of Scuba Jack is an interactive DVD series featuring the lovable character Scuba Jack and his friends. Each video brings children on exciting adventures in learning through exploration. Along with the videos, the children and parents can also join in with the class by downloading the lessons from online and following along with the children on screen.

“Beth, Krista, Faye, Angela, & Lisa nurtured my three girls over 9 years. They had fun, they learned, they made friends, they loved all of the teachers and they were extremely prepared for kindergarten. The staff at Majestic Harbor (formerly Woodland Place Country Day) made our lives easier and happier, with lots of love, caring & kindness from 1996-2005. We miss them!"
